MIDNIGHT IN PARIS. AND MORNING, NOON AND NIGHT

After Paris Fashion Week, Anna Andres shares her favourite places to slow down, recharge and find balance in the city’s beautiful chaos.

01 — Glow First

For a proper skin reset, I love the Biologique Recherche Residence on the Champs-Élysées. They start with a detailed skin assessment and then tailor the treatment completely to what your skin needs at that moment. I especially love it before an event, when I want my skin to look fresh, rested and naturally glowing.

I’d also definitely recommend trying a facial massage at M.A.S.C Studio. Their sculpting techniques give an immediate effect — the face looks more lifted and defined, facial tension is released, and the skin has a beautiful natural glow afterwards.

02 — Lunch Somewhere Beautiful

I love Bar de la Croix Rouge in Saint-Germain for something very simple and very Parisian. I’d also go to Sant Ambroeus - it has that perfect mix of Milanese elegance and Parisian energy - or OGATA in the Marais when I want something completely different. It’s such a beautiful Japanese space, and lunch there feels like a little escape from Paris without actually leaving the city.

03 — After Dark

I love CRAVAN in Saint-Germain-des-Prés - it’s elegant, intimate and has a very particular Parisian atmosphere. The cocktails are excellent, but I also love the whole experience of the place: the design, the books, the different spaces. And for something more timeless, Bar Hemingway at The Ritz is always special - intimate, iconic and perfect for a beautifully made cocktail.

04 — The Morning After

The New Me is one of my favourite Pilates studios in Paris. They have several locations around the city, so it’s really easy to find one wherever you are staying. The studios are beautifully equipped, the trainers are great, and a Reformer class there is honestly one of my favourite ways to reset after a late night.

05 — Breakfast, Obviously

Carette at Trocadéro is one of my favourites for a very Parisian breakfast with a beautiful view. Café de Flore is timeless - it’s one of those places that feels completely connected to the history of Saint-Germain. And I also really like Le Berkeley on Avenue Matignon, it’s elegant, a little more discreet and has that old-school Parisian brasserie atmosphere that I love.

06 — Feed Your Eyes

Paris is one of those cities where inspiration is everywhere, but I always come back to museums. Musée Rodin is one of my favourites - I love the sculptures, the Hôtel Biron and especially the garden, it has such a peaceful atmosphere. This season I’m also really excited about Cézanne et nous at the Grand Palais and the Rafael Pavarotti exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs is definitely worth seeing if you love fashion and photography. I’d also recommend checking what’s on at the Palais Galliera - their exhibitions often give you a completely different perspective on fashion and its history.

07 — The Archive Hunt

Nuovo is one of the best vintage stores in Paris, especially if you love archive fashion from the ’90s and early 2000s. You can find amazing Tom Ford-era Gucci, Galliano-era Dior and other really special designer pieces there.

I’m currently working on AMBERMER’s second drop, expanding beyond swimwear into resort wear, and Paris has become a constant source of inspiration. It’s everywhere — in the streets, in museums, and often in vintage pieces from another era.

08 — The Perfect Frame

Palais-Royal and the streets around it are perfect for clean, elegant shots. Rue de Furstemberg is quieter and more romantic, while Pont Alexandre III gives you that dramatic Paris moment. Galerie Vivienne is beautiful for a more cinematic mood and Square Rapp is one of the best less-obvious places for an Eiffel Tower shot!
